Ruffing went above and beyond. We weren’t even 2 hours into our 10 hour road trip for vacation when our a/c went out. It was one of the hottest weeks, at the very end of July. Thankfully, we had extended coverage which included Ruffing in their very short list of possible mechanics. I’m so glad. An extremely stressful situation was made easy with Ruffing, and, specially, Spike. During our drive, with windows down on the interstate, in 98 degree temps, Spike took time to help. Not only did he answer the phone with a helpful demeanor, he did so each of the 4+ times. Never making me repeat our situation, always picking back up where we left off. See, not only did Spike let us know their availability, possible scenarios & limitations (relating to the warranty) he tried to help us find a more convenient location to our destination. We ended up easily settling on Ruffing and the just under 1 hour drive from our vacation spot. There were 2 possible ways to diagnose our issue, Spike determined, with the information we were able to provide which would be more beneficial to us & our pocketbook, in the small chance the issue wasn’t covered by our extended warranty. On top of all that, they were able to lend us a minivan to use while they worked on ours. We were still able to enjoy our time in Wisconsin because of the team at Ruffing. I only wish that every automotive repair shop was as informative and kind to work with. It truly felt like we were being taken care of just as they would their family. Thanks to them, we had a much more comfortable ride back home and the a/c is still working great.
